Hello

This is Mina! A self-starter with a meticulous yet quick eye who lives and breathers great design, always pushing boundaries and inspiring others with forward-thinking concepts? Yep, that's me. I was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, graduated with a BA in Philosophy/Visual Communications. After moving to the United States, I began my path as a designer, received a BFA in Graphic Design.

My body of work encompasses brand identities, environmental design, multi-scale exhibitions, signage systems, print, motion and interactive graphics for many distinguished clients, including  the Shedd Aquarium, Queen Botanic Garden in NY, BP, P&G, Nestlé, Kraft and more.

In 2007 I joined OfficeMax as a Senior Packaging Designer. After working as a Senior Packaging designer for five years, I was promoted to Creative Director  (packaging) in Advertising Creative. In my role, I directed and managed a team of designers in the design and implementation of packaging for OfficeMax and private brands, from concept through completion. Our work included creating packaging designed to meet strategic objectives, while upholding our customers' experience and staying within cost objectives.

I hope you enjoy my work. If you'd like to partner together in any big or small projects, feel free to give me a buzz at 773 599 9644 or drop me a line at msudsaard@gmail.com

My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find points of tension behind the idea I’ve been assigned or am interested in. I do several iterations on each point and usually end up refining the one I find most controversial.

For me, controversy isn’t about instigation, but rather, a way to arrest your audience. It’s a way to plant a little bit of desire in their hearts; a yearning to turn the page and learn more about your idea. Ultimately, it’s about creating memorable images.
