NaKorn - urban thai kitchen

NaKorn is located in the heart of Evanston and was designed to reflect a nostalgic yet modern twist on Bangkok’s ’70s Thai-Chinese shophouses, with painstakingly authentic attention to detail. Thai birdcages comprise the lighting and handmade and hand-assembled abacuses line the bar. The banquettes feature fabrics imported from England and reminiscent of traditional Thai men’s sarongs. A mural of Thailand’s beloved and longest-reigning monarchs, King Bhumibol Adulyadej, sometimes known in Western countries as King Rama IX, is featured on the wall.
